Early voting is from February 20th to March 1st. Election Day is March 5th. I share my personal election choices, but I believe that each person should make their own thoughtful, informed decisions before going to the voting machine. My preferences should be another source of information in your decision making. Do your research.
Remember even if a candidate is running unopposed you should VOTE FOR them or AGAINST them.
For some contests I have “no opinion”.
There are some individuals who are Democrats, who have done absolutely nothing in their district. Have never “said a mumbling word”. No public meetings, not visible, only email was to remind the voters, that they would be running again. I will be voting AGAINST.
There are other democrats with a small 'd' who were more of a socialist bent when they were in Austin. I will be voting AGAINST. Don't want either extremes in power. Looking for politicians who will engage and listen to the diversity in their District and come up with reasonable solutions to the issues.
Here are my choices for the Democratic Primary. I live in Austin District 1.
